INSPIRATION: Summer Dresses

March is ending soon and everyone’s excited for summer in the tropics. There are lots of awesome things to do for the best time of the year. For the beautiful lasses, it’s the perfect season to shop for dresses for any beach trips, planned short-time vacations (for working women) or just plainly strolling around towns and cities with our loved ones.

Sumatra in 2 Shades

In my every day life, there are a couple of pictures I take. I love taking shots of anything and a lot more too of myself which makes my lovepartner bothered though he likes it more if I snap some photos of our beautiful surroundings wherever we go.

This photo was taken in what we called as “Our Beach” located more than 2 km. south of Lhok Nga, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This exact location had dealt with the tragic tsunami that hit most of the shores in Northern Sumatra, Indo and the neighboring coastlines. The 2004 Boxing Day ebb and flow also took thousands of lives which has been a traumatic experience to the people living those towns in Aceh.

As clear as a glass, the long-stretched coastline could never be thought what it saw during that day. Its serenity still engulfs me now as I lay down here in our hotel bed and makes me miss the solidarity that comes with it. An old place where new trees grow, animals stroll and reunited families bond to pass through the hard times they didn’t expect to come years ago, is worth to pay a visit. 

First Stamp

I love to travel. Yet, it’s my first time to be out of my native land with my lovepartner, Craseyfish. Among all the countries around the world, the Singaporean Immigration stamped my passport first and foremost (apart from my departure, though). This picture is one of the rest that I took while we’re on a bus to our second stop - Malaysia.

Straight Hair for 2012 \m/

I have been carrying my loose beach-y locks for a couple of years until 2 days ago, I had my hair straightened. It actually cost me so cheap to have this done and thanks to my hairstylist in my hometown - Miss J! XX

Gray Street

Leaves may have withered in his heart,
Chuntering reasons for them to torn apart,
Hard to feel how much it lures or costs,
Just a lovely prat, with him she's lost.

Needs some love, not fugitive nor shallow,

Useless it is for a girl to pursue,
A man in no danger but heart is blue,
Stone and bitter he shows to portray,
In wilderness she may go but won't betray.

Love is so strange in countless ways,
Like fighting a soul, can't find a trace,
As rays still collide with the sunny sky,
Never a choice for her to utter her goodbye.

Seminars Ain't Bad After All

But with this picture, it really says how we enjoyed the night together! My Aunt is quite scared about being alone here, ending up that I need to accompany her every night sleeping in this room. Almost done tho! Weeeeeeeeee! Happy evening to all!

Art from the Bin

Would you guess where I took this photo? Seriously, you couldn't imagine that this one was an old empty can of paint and was used as a trash can. This was the inside wall of the 1 gallon can. I was so bored waiting for my sister-in-law and figured out to take some pictures. Surprisingly, this caught my attention not because I was throwing something in it, but it just literally pulled me to snap one! Amazingly, it turned out pretty good and unique. I have used this as an inspiration for my accessories. This would be my photo of the day, taken last month, tho. ;) Love youuuuuuuu!

Typhoon

Typhoon Ramon - thanks, you went to another way. Sucks to stay at home because of heavy rain and all that. Well, taken in my humble abode, this photo reflects my fuzzy singularity. Passion Fish (Mother-Daughter-Date)

ONE thing I love today:

I spent half of the day with my Mama. Apart from being in muscle pain from the wall climbing the other night, I am starving too. Mama and I went around the mall and had some few stops on any shops that she liked. And ended up eating at Bigby's! Passion Fish is really the best! I'm eating for two actually.LOL

Everything just felt so good going out with my Mama.

And soon, we  have a project to do! A crocheted blanket which I'm so excited to do.

*But yeah...need to focus now on searching for jobs. Staying positive feels so good.

Crashing now! Bunk bed here I come!
