Sea + Sand + Surf in < 30 Days

Aleli and I from our Siargao Island trip last 2009 ;)

Living in the island, earning enough to support our trips, thinking about surf, sipping milk teas in the morning with your partner and enjoying the lazy afternoons in a hammock are some of the few things that I dream to do in my life. But when reality sinks in, what I'm aiming for these days is to go back to the place where waves and surfboards meet; wishing that my boyfriend was here so I could take some pictures of him while surfing and getting tubed. And I must say that I've been hoping that soon, Aleli ...Kris...Mosho...will hop onto a plane and go home here in the Philippines and do the things that we used to do together.

I love surfing and I've been trying my best to learn everything that I need to know. And being excited of my sorority sisters - Aleli  and Kris coming back here in the Philippines, I couldn't imagine what it would be like to spend their mini-vacation from work in the island of Siargao. It's gonna be more exciting for the fact that some of our very dear sisters will be tagging along with us for the next month trip.

All of the photos above reminded me of the joy it brought us; the fun that we'd always seek; the memories that close friends share and the bond of such sorority that keeps it strong. Right now, I'm keeping myself on a nutritional diet for this big trip. Haha. I couldn't take the nuisance of my beer belly while paddling out there with my bikini. Siargao, here we come in 29 days - again! XX

SPEARING Magazine Vol. 4/Issue 4 (gift for the BF)

I'm supposed to surprise my Craseyfish with this but I couldn't help but feed him the news that  a lil' package is coming onto Somerset lands. The mall was almost closed and I thought that I couldn't make it but the bookshop guy allowed me to get in and scavenge the lost magazine. It took me almost 10 mins to find this but I'm such a fast picker - it turned out pretty well as the cashier and the salesman were both waiting for me. Glad that they didn't refuse me to look for it tho. And, surprisingly, I got in no time and headed back home after purchasing it! Hope you will love it my Craseyfish! <3 Love you heaps! ;)

Cebu Graffiti Photo for NYLON Magazine (BLOGS)

I went to the NBI-Cebu yesterday to secure a clearance certificate for travelling abroad. While walking on the sidewalk near the Capitol area (the city centre), I saw this art form and remembered the NYLON Blog graffiti post. This is the one I've sent to Faran of NYLON Magazine earlier last night. I'm so happy because she posted this right away. If you'd love to check it out, you can see it here

Yay! I love Cebu graffiti scattered all over our small city which makes me proud of our Cebuano local artists!

HAPPY :D

Snow White and the Huntsman Film Location: Marloes Sands, Pembrokeshire

Two nights ago, after attending a lecture-seminar on updates of cardiovascular care guidelines from 1PM - 5PM, Tessa (my lawyer-roomie) and I decided to watch Snow White and the Huntsman. She was frantic about it and I was also kinda like excited on watching the film though it has to be in the last full show.

To our surprise, we also got a buy-one-take-one scoop of ice cream from Gelatissimo. I had the Biscottino+Strawberry Cheesecake? Yeah...again, Gelato doesn't fail us in any flavors they offer to us. It was so heavenly. Anyhoo, going back to the movie, what I loved about it was Charlize Theron playing the role of the wicked Queen. She looked so amazing with her gowns designed by Colleen Atwood. All throughout the flick, Kirsten Stewart has to wear rugged combination of being a princess and a prisoner. One thing that I loved the most, too, was the beach that stretched near the the evil Queen's castle. It really stunned me for the fact that I love the seaside. It's magical and uncrowded which is probably one of the best places to seek refuge from busy lives in the cities.

Marloes Beach, Pembrokeshire, Wales - where Snow White and the Huntsman was filmed; a castle was expected to be digitally imposed
I am not really a fan of Kirsten Stewart but since her roles are such a thoughie and for the fact that I grew up with Disney's Snow White, I really watched this movie. Here, on a horse, filmed in Marloes Beach.
