Yes, Manny Pacquiao lost the fight. But thinking about the waves, we've got Nilve Blancada and Luke Landrigan, Philippines' top surfers to represent our country for the Quiksilver Open West Java Surfing Competition 2012 held in Indonesia from 14th to 17th of June. Well, no surprise at all since Nilve Blancada grew up surfing the waves in Siargao Island, well-trained by her amazing surfer sister Nildie Blancada-Rietenbach. Last May 2012, Nilve or Bebe as what people usually call her, also won the winning title of the Roxy International Surfing Competition held in Cloud9, Siargao Island, Philippines defeating Philippa Anderson.
I am so proud of the local girls in the island of Siargao because they totally rip and ace in facing one of the best surfing spots in the world.
